REFLEX project meeting in BrusselsThe Reflex consortium met for a last project meeting in the European Office of Saxony’s Municipalities (Rue Guimard 7) in Brussels on 04th April 2019. During the one-day-meeting the consortium had a busy agenda. Among other agenda points, the Reflex colleagues discussed in different working sessions several issues regarding the Reflex book publication, which will be published by Springer end of the year. Furthermore, the Reflex partners had roundtable discussions to reflect critically the whole Reflex project duration and the Stakeholder Workshop, which was hold the day before (https://reflex-project.eu/public/). The researchers and industry partners agreed that after almost three years of project duration the outcome is very valuable. The team of energy experts from six European countries developed a comprehensive Energy Model System (EMS) by coupling ten different models to analyse different pathways for the European energy system under consideration of flexibility and technological progress. Additionally, a complete new Data Warehouse was set up to facilitate the data exchange between the soft-linked models. In future projects more attention should be given to additional dissemination activities across several distribution channels. |

REFLEX project meeting in ZurichThe REFLEX project consortium got together from 18th – 19th February 2019 in Zurich, kindly hosted by the project partner TEP Energy GmbH. During the two-day meeting the consortium has discussed the final scenario results of the sectoral bottom-up models and the life cycle assessments as well as the results of several sensitivity analyses. Further, dissemination activities as the data publication via the REFLEX data base, the book publication concerning technological learning as well as the final REFLEX Stakeholder Workshop (on 3rd April 2019 in Brussels) have been discussed and pushed forward. If you are interested in the REFLEX Stakeholder Workshop, please find more information on the project website https://reflex-project.eu/public/. |

REFLEX project meeting in MilanFrom October 22 – 24, 2018 the REFLEX partners met in Milan for their project meeting organised by TRT. The focus of this meeting was given on the results regarding the energy system models as well as the life cycle cost assessments. The consortium discussed relevant assumptions and interactions between the applied models to further harmonize and improve them for the final model calculations. Additional topics have been first policy implications, the development of the REFLEX data base as well as the final report. |

REFLEX project meeting at AGH in KrakowThe REFLEX project partners recently got together for a project meeting from May 8 – 9, 2018 at AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. The consortium discussed the work progress within the project as well as results from the reference scenario. In a working session the researchers and industry partners from different European countries talked about legal issues of open data access and how to disseminate the results beyond the project’s end. Special focus was given to the model coupling and model run schedule for the policy scenarios. Other topics, which were discussed within the meeting, were the REFLEX Storyline for the final project report and next steps for each work package. |

REFLEX project meeting at KIT in KarlsruheThe REFLEX project consortium met from 6th – 7th November 2017 at KIT-IIP in Karlsruhe. In the project meeting first results of different work packages were discussed. Special importance were given to the issues of model coupling, establishment of the data warehouse, results on a Demand-Side-Management-survey as well as the results of the experience curves development of several technologies. Further, next steps for the work packages were defined and different action points were spread among the partners. |
|
REFLEX project meeting at KTH in StockholmThe REFLEX consortium met from 23rd – 24th May 2017 at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm to discuss the progress in the first project year. During this two-day meeting first project results were presented and next steps in different working packages were discussed. Special focus was given to the implementation of the model coupling as well as the calculation of experience curves for selected technologies. |
